Compost Tumbler

Who needs an expensive compost tumbler when you can build one yourself? All you need to do is drill some big holes into a garbage can and cover them with some fiberglass screen. The actual tumbling part may be a little "low tech" but it'll get the job done.

This is a humorous post, and a practical, inexpensive good idea!

Great idea. And one could save it for days that have been especially trying and take one's frustration out on the tumbling. :)

Hey, you stole my compost bin! :) I do the same with mine, just a plain blue trash can with a whole bunch of holes drilled all over it. Kids love to roll it around!

Hi Erica,
I'll have to do a post on how I built my bin and you'll see how mine is way better than yours. :)
